Beautiful land, arena, and barn. Everything you could ever want/need for your horse to be taken care of is at this farm! Plus, the owners of the farm are amazing. The riding lessons you can receive are unbeatable. If you want to see the best farm in Central PA, visit Maple Valley Acres!
Both my kids love going out to get the full farm experience and just help around the property. The owners are amazing people and truly care about their business. They provide a great atmosphere to allow kids to excel in something they love. Even if it’s their first time and they are just testing the waters. Their events are also very good for the community as well. People come from all over to attend. It truly is a great place to attend and be a part of.
OUR TEAM
Meet the faces behind Maple Valley Acres
Hi there! I'm Karoline, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to our farm. My journey in agriculture began early, fueled by my active involvement in my local 4H club, where I even had the pleasure of serving a term as Pennsylvania's 4H president. I also led my high school FFA club, which deepened my passion for farming and community.
With a lifetime of horse experience under my belt, I continued my skills at Penn State where I received a degree in equine science. Here, I participated in equine judging events and a colt starting program. Teaching and encouraging riders is one of my greatest joys, and I love seeing others grow in their equestrian journeys. I believe that fostering a supportive environment helps both horses and riders reach their full potential. Each being has its own unique spirit, and I strive to bring out the very best in them.
When I'm not in the saddle or yelling out instruction from the arena, you can find me helping my husband on the farm or enjoying precious moments with our new baby. I believe that the blend of hard work and nurturing relationships is what makes our life on the farm so rewarding. Together, Tyler and I are cultivating a space filled with love, learning, and growth. Im very excited to share that with you !
Welcome! I'm Tyler! A few things about me; I have a deep passion for farming. Growing up being homeschooled gave me freedom to explore these interests at a young age. Through pivotal experiences and hands on education from my local 4H club, I was able to start my farming career at just 15 years old. I started pestering neighbors to grow hay in their vacant fields and grew my operation from scratch. I still farm those beginning fields today, but have grown my aspirations to a much larger scale as a first generation land owner.
When I'm not in the fields, or driving down the road in a tractor, I love tinkering on new projects around the farm. Whether it's fixing equipment or experimenting with innovative techniques, I enjoy finding ways to improve our work. You'll also find me chatting with visitors at the barn, cheering on MVA riders at horse shows, and rocking my new role as Dad.
I believe that every day on the farm brings new challenges and opportunities, and I'm excited to embrace them all. Together with Karoline, we're building a life rich in hard work, creativity, and community. I can't wait to share our journey with you!
